The greedy king

Once there was a vey strong king at Kapando called Mambo, which meant King Lion. He was the King of all the people and the beasts in that area. When there was no rain all the animals came to him with gifts which he offered their the gods. Man animals and people did not love him because he misused his powers. He demanded gifts which had to be given and the people did not like this. Anyone who failed to give gifts were sent away. Eventually the people got sick of this and took action against the King. He was forced to mend his ways. This is a traditional story from Malawi, Africa.
