Rapescape, no escape.

When women complain about rape, they are called liars. When Brittany Higgins complained about rape to her boss , Linda Reynolds, she called Brittany a “lying cow”. One assault is the rape of the body. The other assault is the rape of the mind. When women fail to support their raped sisters, they are complicit with the rapist. The fact that rapists are by the majority known to their victim further shields them as nobody believes that these things happen to nice men in nice suburbs raising nice children. The myth is kept intact and the victim is sacrificed for the sake of keeping the status quo where men are believed as against women. Women are inevitably blamed and punished for daring to raise their voice against one of their male relatives.
