Pikelet was a small dog with attitude. LIke all small dogs, he acted big and bossy, until the big dogs got sick of this and ganged up on him. So he ran away from home seeking a smallnss cure. He met up with a homeless man who advised him to accept his small size. Pikelet retuned home a much wiser little dog. And the big dogs respected him for learning to accept the things he couldn’t change. This is conveyed to children in a subtle way. It is in poetic form for primary school age children.
