On a war time footing

The bureaucrat strides through the devastation he and his ilk have wrought. All decisions lead to reactions and when these differ from the bureaucrat’s plan, he raises the stakes. This will escalates until annihilliation is reached. This process is common between individuals, groups, societies, states and countries. In a society where a few hold absolute power, there is no amelioration of the cruelty and destruction inflicted on people and the enviironment to achieve an ideological or an economic purpose. And what happens then? More of the same until the population takes up pitchforks and gets rid of the war mongers. But this is a temporary fix. While we have a hierarchical society this will be repeated time and time again. Humanity is an unresolved social and biological experiment. Time to go back to the drawing board.
