Michael at the Early Morning Centre

This is Michael at the Early Morning Centre, Canberra. He is very chatty and somewhat entertaining. However I could not make much sense of what he was saying which I put down to my defective hearing. When we finished talking he left the Centre armed with two coffees and headed for his bike. Michael was one self sufficient homeless person. His bike was equiped with an Asian style umbrella to ward off the rain. His possessions were strapped to the bike. He had obviously been homeless for a while and was quite cheerful about his situation. Though like all the homeless people I talked to, he yearned for more stability in his life.
