Black dog blues

Sarah was an artist and writer who lived with her partner John in a big house. John went away a lot and Sarah became very lonely. Her daughter suggested that she get a dog. So they went to the pound and Sarah adopted a black Labrador which she called Lady. Many years passed and Lady eventually died. Sarah was devastated but later when she felt better she went back to the pound and adopted two dogs she named Bo and Billie. After many dog disagreements the two dogs settled down and became Sarah’s best friends and protectors.
