The little girl is relaxing in an imaginary ocean reading a book. She is so lost in the world of make believe that she ignores the creatures gathering around this human curiousity. Some of the creatures might appear frightening with their ugly faces and their weird bodies. Others are more streamlined and glide quietly through the waters together in a dance that is as old as time. But whether we see these creatures as beautiful or ugly, they are nonetheless part of creation which does not need to make such judgements. Each has their place in the ocean which is their home. Each has their job to do which is to survive long enough to create another generation of their kind. “Remember this”, the book tells the llttle girl, “remember this and you’ll always be wise.”
